Job Description
Chelsey Park Long Term Care Residence is recruiting for a part time Receptionist. The successful applicant will support the day to day operations of the main reception centre including greeting all persons entering the home, switchboard operations as well as administrative task completion and clerical duties in our long term care home.
REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must possess proficient computer skills, be well organized and have excellent time management skills. Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
MUST HAVE FLEXIBILITY WITH SCHEDULE TO BE AVAILABLE FOR ; DAYS, EVENINGS, WEEKENDS AND STAT HOLIDAYS.
Primary duties for this position include but not limited to:
– Provide reception service to all residents, staff and visitors to the home; answering multi-line switchboard, monitoring entrance door access.
– Supports all departments with administrative duties including copying, typing (40+ words per minutes), arranges courier service, updating lists, mail outs/postage, room bookings, other items as per reception duties outline.
– Provides support to the accounting personnel.
– Markets the home including greeting, providing tours and information.
– Processing stationary supply order requests for all departments.
– Sets up new employee personnel files; general file maintenance.
– Opens, sorts, distributes all facility mail.
– Participates in month end reporting.
– Supports all general tasks related the administration office; additional duties as assigned by the Office Manager.
