Full-Time Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) Jobs in St. Catherines
Job Description
Retirement Homes within the St. Catherines are seeking Part-time / Full-time RMTs to oversee the day-to-day care requirements of residents in their Retirement Home and ensure the highest quality service is provided to all residents.
As a key member of the care team, you will deliver care in accordance with RMTs professional practice standards. Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary to foster good communication with residents, the community and staff. You will confidently direct staff involved in client care, and manage stressful situations with poise and professionalism. Above all, you are an organized team player who works well unsupervised.
Basic Requirements:
- Certification by a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists
- Must be punctual, reliable and have a flexible work schedule to meet clients and residence needs
- Must be quick, proactive, self-disciplined, self organized, have a good professional attitude towards residents and staff and have a keen understanding o the seniors’ housing market.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to function as an effective interdisciplinary team member
- The ideal candidate will have experience in consumer sales, community outreach and marketing
- Experience with a focus in a community setting is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in a second language is considered an asset.
